About Us

Mobile Environmental Analytical (MEA) is a full-service environmental consulting firm with a focus on groundwater and soil remediation. MEA has been in business as a Pennsylvania Corporation since 1992 and is located in Bangor, Pennsylvania.

Our team provides a full suite of in-house field services including surface geophysics, Geoprobe, utility clearing/vacuum excavation/air knife/hydro-excavation, multi-media environmental sampling, laboratory analysis, site characterization efforts and reporting, and site remediation design and implementation. MEA also works directly with representatives at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund (USTIF) on our client’s behalf to achieve project goals and closure.

MEA personnel include Environmental Scientists, multiple Pennsylvania-licensed Professional Geologists, Environmental Field Technicians, and Laboratory Technicians. MEA’s primary focus is investigation and remediation of spills at petroleum facilities (retail petroleum and bulk fuel sales). Our personnel possess extensive experience with PADEP’s Act 2, Brownfields redevelopment, and Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at numerous properties and legacy industrial/commercial facilities. All of our field employees are 40-hour OSHA certified. MEA operates a Pennsylvania-accredited environmental laboratory for the analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
